What is the e-andbanc service?

The e-andbanc service is andbanc’s electronic banking service on the internet which offers a wide range of banking operations:

  1. ·    Check accounts, transactions and transfers.
  2. ·    Check pending transaction on your credit card.
  3. ·    Check and follow the securities’ portfolios, securities’ purchase orders and their respective follow-up.
  4. ·    View of the global patrimony and its graphic representation
  5. ·    Check term deposits and exchange operations.
  6. ·    Check loans and repayment plans.

Whom is e-andbanc for?

The e-andbanc service is for all andbanc’s clients searching for an additional channel, a convenient and a simple way to work with the bank and you can benefit in this manner from the facilities and simplicity of contact.

How much does e-andbanc’s service cost?

The e-andbanc is an added value service for all andbanc’s clients which have any type of account; therefore the service does not have any direct costs.

How can I get the e-andbanc services?

If you are an andbanc client and have internet access, you have the possibility to benefit from this new service. To access it you only need to sign an e-andbanc contract at one of our branches or also at our Private Banking centres in Escaldes-Engordany or Andorra la Vella.

When you have signed the e-andbanc contract, you will receive a welcome package which includes all the necessary elements for the installation and use of this new service in your PC:

  1. ·    CD-Rom which will help with the installation and configuration process of your computer.
  2. ·    A quick installation guide.
  3. ·    An extensive service manual.
  4. ·    An ikey, which when connected to your PC, will allow you work with maximum security.
  5. ·    Your ikey is a true access key to the e-andbanc service and is guaranteed at all times, according to the deciphering of data, all the communications with the banc.
  6. ·    Along with the welcome package, you will find your secret code of identification and a second password necessary to access the e-andbanc service.

Beyond this point, you will have all that is necessary to enjoy from andbanc’s internet banking services.

What is the access schedule for the system?

The e-andbanc service is available seven days per week, 24 hours a day.

Are there restrictions on banking transactions?

There aren’t specific restrictions linked to the e-andbanc service. Each client, according to his user’s profile, will be able to make, without restrictions, all contracted transactions.

Are associated costs to the transactions made through e-andbanc?

All transactions have the same conditions as the ones applicable at our branch network.

Can I become an e-andbanc client on the internet?

It is not possible to subscribe to e-andbanc through the internet. For legal and confidentiality reasons, go to one of branches or Private Banking agencies.

Are the e-andbanc services available in my language?

The e-andbanc internet banking service is available in four languages: Catalan, English, Spanish and French.

Security

Which is the security system used by e-andbanc?

e-andbanc relies on the most advanced technology to guarantee the utmost security and confidentiality, when accessing your information as well as in the exclusive identification of the clients. This technology is based on the use of a password and digital pads.

These elements reside physically in a physical cryptographic device (a key), unique and impossible to be copied, which andbanc provides exclusively to each client, at the moment of subscription.

This device is protected by your Personal code or password (an alphanumeric code of personal identification made up of 8 characters), which guarantees the confidentiality of your connection to andbanc. You may change it anytime you see fit.

It is impossible for any person to connect to the e-andbanc service without any of these systems. Therefore, your personal information cannot be stolen.

To access the e-andbanc service, you have to insert the hardware device in its corresponding place in your PC. A bit alter inserting it, you have to remember and introduce the password that only you know.

This security system authenticates your identity and guarantees the integrity of the information and the received instructions from the e-andbanc service. Therefore, all transactions you make through the service remained assigned electronically.

Which are my obligations when it comes to security?

Your ikey is protected by your Personal Code which guarantees the confidentiality of your connection to e-andbanc. For this reason, we advise you to always have them in different places to prevent possible fraudulent use.

What are the e-andbanc security advantages?

The e-andbanc security system includes a unique and exclusive measure to guarantee even more the confidentiality of e-andbanc’s clients. This measure gives an efficient response to the remote possibility that someone may take away from you the welcome package (the security device, the installation CD) and the personal access code, on your way home, right after subscribing to the service.

By saying a few secret words at the time of subscription, which only you know, the security device is totally inaccessible; therefore no one can access your accounts. If you don’t answer correctly to the question makes which the software application before making the first connection to the andbanc service.

Therefore it is safe to say, that if somebody has all the elements to make the first connection to the e-andbanc, could not do it since he/she would not know the secret words that only you know, to access for the first time to the service.

What type of computer is needed to access e-andbanc ?

To be able to install e-andbanc in your computer it requires:

e-andbanc can also be used in a laptop computer.

Does e-andbanc need a high capacity line?

It is not necessary to have a special line. e-andbanc is prepared to function with maximum convenience with the high standards established by the market: an analogue line with a 56 KB modem will be sufficient.

Does e-andbanc occupy a lot of space in my PC’s memory?

e-andbanc installs only the required security programs needed for the use of your system and to establish a secure connection, for example, the update of your browser. Therefore, there is no risk of overloading your system.
